Superb c1850 chest of drawers … beautifully hand-crafted with book-matched features

• mahogany timber, mahogany timber veneer, oak timber
• circa 1850’s
• angled front-facing corner edges
• hand-cut dovetail joined drawers (dividers to the top drawer)
• brass inset loop handles

👉 Condition overview; a solid and sturdy piece, the drawers run seamlessly.  This beautiful piece displays wear consistent with use and age, including age-related changes to the timber that have been repaired at some point on both sides.  The handles are not original to the piece, hence there are three locks present without keyhole access.  There are signs of old borer but they are long gone and no longer active.
