Condition overview; serving not only as a decorative piece, this lovely bureau was used over its time as a writing desk, therefore displaying wear consistent with use and age, a testament to its 100 plus years of service.  There are no cracks or chips in the glass and the doors, drop-front, slide-out supports and locks all work well.  The finish is inconsistent in areas and along with general knocks, there has been a repair made to the back corner edging of the top of the base section
