A gorgeous example of Georgian furniture, it features;
- mahogany timber & mahogany timber veneer
- circa 1830 - 1840
- exquisite marquetry string inlay to drawers & top
- 4 hand-cut dovetail-joined drawers
- complete & matching brass handles
- 4 locks, no key
- splayed bracket feet
Condition overview; this beautiful piece is structurally sturdy and the drawers work well. Having enjoyed a long life with lots of use, it displays a number of surface marks (including to the top) and knocks. The back left-hand side leg has had a repair made on it at some point.
