Condition overview; in good condition, relative to its age, it is a beautifully crafted, well-made piece.  All of the drawers work well as do the locks.  As to be expected on a piece of this vintage, it displays general wear, knock and surface marks (including to the top).  In addition, it has signs of old borer but as a piece imported to Australia, it has been treated, so they are no longer active.  The handles and escutcheons have been re-finished at some stage.
