A delightful, Australian made chest of drawers, it features;

• maple timber & maple timber veneer construction
• circa early 1950’s
• superb wood grain figuring
• contrasting front facing timber veneer edging feature
• 5 dovetail joined drawers
• glass top (removable)
• complete & matching brass handles
• recessed plinth base
• makers stamp; illegible but can make out ‘European Labour Only’ which indicates it was made in Australia, more than likely in Melbourne

Condition overview; in fair condition from a finish perspective, good condition from a structural perspective, relative to its age, all of the drawers work seamlessly and there are no cracks in the glass.  As to be expected on a used piece of this vintage, it displays a number of general wear, knock (to the veneer in areas) and surface marks (including on the top).
