This superb piece was made by Macrow & Sons in Geelong.  The only history I could find was from the early 1900’s when they were based in Ryrie St, Geelong.  Their building was referred to as Macrows Furniture Arcade … they also specialised in pianos, organs and “a splendid assortment of Talking Machines” (from Trove).  It features;

Condition overview; in condition, relative to its age, the drawers and doors work well.  As to be expected on a used piece of this vintage, it displays general wear, knock and surface marks (including on the top).
