This superb hand-crafted Arts & Crafts / Art Nouveau piece was made in Brisbane by F. Tritton.  Established in the 1800’s, they moved to the George St location in Brisbane in 1899.  The Tritton name was renown for high-quality, beautifully crafted furniture, not only in QLD but Australia wide.  It features;

Condition overview; in good condition, relative to a piece of this age, there are no cracks in the mirror.  The lock and doors work well.  As expected on a piece of this vintage, it displays general wear, knock and surface marks.  In addition, there is age-related separation on the left-hand side of the cabinet, however this does not affect its structural integrity at all.  

Dimensions; 1370mm wide x 500mm deep x 1860mm high, to the top of the base cabinet; 940mm high.  Internal shelf height clearances from top to bottom; 275mm, 270mm x 425mm deep.
