This lovely cabinet is finished on the back as well, so it is not limited to being placed against a wall.  This quality piece was made by Chiswell, a fine Australian company, renown for producing high-quality pieces.  Established almost 100 years ago, they continue to be one of Australia’s furniture making success stories.  It features;

Condition overview; in good condition, relative to its age, it is a very solid, sturdy, beautifully crafted piece.  The doors work well and there are no cracks in the glass.  As expected on a used piece of this vintage, it displays general wear knock (including to the right-hand side base) and surface marks.  In addition, there must have been another section at one point as there are two plugged holes where it once sat.
