This lovely slim-line table, made in Virginia, America was made by Lane, who was a prominent producer of modern American furniture in the 1940s–1970s.  The company produced authenticated reproduction pieces adapted from the Museum of American Folk Art.  It features;

• solid oak timber (or similar) & oak timber veneer (or similar) construction
• circa 1970’s
• 2 dovetail-joined drawers
• complete & matching brass knobs
• stretcher base
• makers stamp; The America Collection, Museum of American Folk Art, Adapted by Lane

Condition overview; in good condition, relative to its age, it is a very solid piece and both drawers work well.  As expected on a used piece of this vintage, it displays a general wear, knock and surface marks.
