A rare find, this stunning hand-crafted piece features;

• 18 hand-cut dovetail-joined drawers
• Florentine bronze file tabs & handles
• 9 fully height adjustable timber shelves
• dual brass strips to both the top & base of the bookcase (possibly it had large glass sliding doors)
• recessed plinth base
• 2 sections for easier transporting – PLEASE note; this a very heavy piece and will require at least 2 men to move

Condition overview; in good condition, relative to its age, it is a VERY solid, beautifully crafted piece.  All of the drawers work well.  As expected on a used piece of this vintage it displays wear marks and knocks.  The bottom far right-hand side handle is not original to the piece.  There is no backing to the base; this is how it was made originally.
