A rare find, this unique George III (1760 – 1820), hand-crafted desk is completely finished on the back with 9 false drawer fronts.  The superbly designed back is a mirror image to the front (apart from the lattice work), right down to the brass key holes!  Designed to be placed anywhere in a room, not just limited to being against a wall.  It features;

Condition overview; in good condition, relative to its age, it is an extremely well-made, solid and sturdy piece and all of the drawers work well.  As expected on a well-used piece of this vintage, it displays a number of general wear, knock and surface marks.  There have been repairs made to it over the years, including to the top, beading, sides and feet but all have been done well, therefore they do not detract from the piece.
