This superb multi-functional piece was made in Melbourne by Atel Furniture Pty Ltd.  The firm was established in 1963 in Bathurst (NSW) and was liquidated in 1982.  They were renown for producing high quality, stylish and multi-functional units.

Condition overview; a fabulous conversation starter, this all-in-one entertainment centre is made for entertaining; records, wine, spirits and cocktail ingredients all at hand … got to love this one! 

In good condition, it displays general wear consistent with use.  The drop front and sliding doors all work well and the shelves are very easy to adjust.  There is a small area to the front bottom left-hand side corner edge where the veneer has been damaged and surface marks to the very bottom of the left-hand side base.  The mirror has some age-related clouding.  Overall, it is a very nice piece that will command attention in any space.
