This fabulous piece was made in Melbourne by Burgess Furniture.  Burgess commenced business in Melbourne in 1869, moved from Collingwood to Preston in 1958 and sadly, due to economic pressures closed their doors in 2005. Burgess Furniture today is still a brand synonymous with quality, hence the ongoing popularity of their pieces.  It features;

Condition overview; in good condition, it is a solid piece and all of the drawers work well.  As can be expected on a well-used piece of this vintage, it displays a number of general wear, knock and surface marks (including to the top)
