This superb hand-crafted piece was made in Brisbane by F. Tritton.  Established in the 1800’s, they moved to the George St location in Brisbane in 1899.  The Tritton name was renown for high-quality, beautifully crafted furniture Australia wide.  It features;

Condition overview; in good condition, relative to its age, it is a very solid, beautifully crafted piece.  There are no cracks in the mirror and all of the drawers work well.  As expected on a used piece of this vintage, there are a number of general wear, knock and surface marks but these form its wonderful character.
