This lovely petite sideboard is finished on the back as well, so it is not limited to being placed against a wall.  A quality piece, it was made by Chiswell, a fine Australian company, renown for producing high-quality pieces.  Established almost 100 years ago, they continue to be one of Australia’s furniture making success stories.  It features;

Condition overview; in good condition, relative to its age, it is a very solid, sturdy, beautifully crafted piece.  The doors and drawers all work well and there are no cracks in the glass.  As expected on a used piece of this vintage, it displays general wear, knocks and surface marks.  It must have had another section at one stage as there are 2 small plugged holes on the top where it would have sat.
