6507 - Retro Vintage Atel Teak Wall Unit Bookcase Cocktail Cabinet / Writing Desk
Finished on the back as well this piece is not limited to being placed against a wall, therefore it can be used as a room divider. A fabulous example of mid-century modern design, was made by Atel Furniture Pty Ltd. The firm was established in 1963 in Bathurst (NSW) and was liquidated in 1982. They were renown for producing high quality, stylish and multi-functional units. It features;

Condition overview; in good condition, it is a beautifully crafted, well-made piece. All of the doors work well. As expected on a used piece of this vintage, it displays general wear, knock and surface marks (particularly to the top of the base).
Dimensions; 1535mm wide x 455mm deep (drop front cabinet open; 730mm deep) x 1830mm high Desk top / servery top open; 785mm high. Internal depth (top section); 275mm deep (base); 420mm deep.
