6450 - Japanese Mizuya Dansu - Vintage Elm Japanese Kitchen Chest of Drawers x 13 – Sliding Door Cabinet
This character-filled Mizuya Dansu (Japanese kitchen chest) is a gorgeous slim-line piece that will add warmth and a point of interest to any space. A popular feature in Japanese kitchens of the past, kitchen chests were used for storing dinnerware, chopsticks and an array of kitchen utensils, however now they are used as multi-functional storage pieces that make a beautiful addition to any room. Condition overview; in good condition, relative to its age, it is a solid piece and all the drawers and the sliding doors work well. As to be expected on a well-used piece of this vintage, it displays general wear, knock (including to the front edge of the top) and surface marks.
