- solid oak timber construction
- circa 1930’s
- stunning wood grain figuring
- slope-top lift-lid glass display case with brass fitting for a lock
- slide-out timber table with handle
- panelled doors to the cabinet
- lock, 1 key
- 2 fixed height level timber shelves
- plinth base
Condition overview; in good condition, relative to its age, it is a beautifully crafted piece. The lift lid, doors, slide-out table and lock all work well and there are no cracks in the glass. As expected on a used piece of this vintage, there are general wear, knock and surface marks (mainly to the top). Judging by the internal holes on either side of the display case, it must have had another shelf at some point.
Dimensions; 930mm wide x 530mm deep (with slide open; 840mm deep) x 1110mm high (front of slope top; 1000mm high). Slide out table; 310mm deep x 840mm high. Internal shelf height clearances from top to bottom; 285mm, 195mm, 210mm high. Shelf depths; 255mm.
Please review the photos and the condition overview as they form part of the description. There may be variances in colour, as it can be difficult to capture exact colour at times. Also, it is impossible to mention / photograph every mark, therefore apart from general wear and tear marks, we endeavour to report and capture as many specific marks or damage, however we may inadvertently miss something. With this in mind; we encourage and highly recommend viewing of items.
