Frederick Parker established business in 1869 manufacturing furniture for Victorian gentry and leading London retailers.  A partnership was formed with Willi Knoll in 1931 and in 1981 Parker Knoll purchased Nathan.  In 1996 they were the number one furniture brand in the UK.  Known for their superb quality and craftsmanship they continue to produce beautiful furniture to this day.  A fantastic piece for a space challenged room, it features;

  • teak timber & teak veneer construction
  • circa 1970’s
  • bow front design
  • 3 internal lights (full working order)
  • 2 door curved glass display
  • 2 height adjustable glass shelves
  • open shelves
  • single drawer
  • complete & matching turned timber knobs
  • 2 panelled doors to the cabinet
  • recessed plinth base
  • makers labels; Parker Knoll Nathan

Condition overview; in very good condition, relative to its age, it is a solid and sturdy piece.  There are no cracks or chips in the glass and the doors and drawer all work well.  As expected on a used piece of this vintage, it displays general wear marks but only minor, so nothing major to note.

Dimensions; 760mm wide x 550mm deep x 1930mm high.  Open shelf height clearances from top to bottom; 200mm, 230mm.  Internal depth; top 200mm deep, base 485mm deep x 330mm high.
