This majestic piece, offering loads of storage capacity, will make a statement in any room.  It features

·       solid cedar timber construction

·       circa late 1800s

·       single wave front ‘secret’ drawer

·       7 additional hand-cut dovetail joined drawers, including a hat drawer

·       complete & matching turned timber knobs

·       ball feet

Condition overview; in fair to good condition, relative to its age, it is a solid and sturdy piece.  All of the drawers work well.  As expected on a well-used piece of this age, it displays age-related (slight expansion of the timber on the top) and general, wear, tear, knock (particularly to the base) and surface marks and the finish is inconsistent in areas.  In addition, it has been re-furbished and the top left-hand side drawer has been replaced at some point.  In addition, the brass key holes are in place but there are no locks or key.

Dimensions; 1210mm wide x 6000mm deep x 1390mm high.
